PayPal Setup

PayPal settings are under Checkout → Settings → PayPal. Use a sandbox REST application belonging to your own PayPal developer account.

  1. Enter the sandbox Client ID and Secret.
  2. Use Test connection.
  3. Configure the webhook using the installed plugin’s endpoint and provider settings.
  4. Use a separate sandbox buyer to test approval and capture.
  5. Verify the paid record, cancellation flow and refund behavior.

A completed PayPal Sandbox buyer purchase has been reported by the developer. Refund, cancellation and webhook scenarios remain release checks. Exact production setup instructions will be finalized with the verified release handoff.
