Getting Started

This documentation describes the current development build of the WordPress checkout plugin. The product name is provisional and public distribution is not yet available.

What it does

The plugin adds a checkout popup for products configured in WordPress. Customers connect their own Stripe and PayPal accounts. WooCommerce is not required.

Development requirements

The current plugin declares WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer; production hosting should use a supported PHP version. The database needs InnoDB support. Use a separate test website while evaluating a development build.

Release boundary

Stripe test-mode payment workflows have been exercised. A completed PayPal Sandbox buyer purchase has been reported by the developer. PayPal refund, cancellation and webhook verification, plus real-device accessibility checks, remain release tasks. Do not treat this preview as a production release recommendation.
